Led by percussion master João Parahyba, this trio of music veterans reinterprets Moacir Santos' classic April Child. With a lot of swing and sensitivity, the track shows all the rhythmic originality of Parahyba in his “timbatera”, a trademark of classics by Trio Mocotó, Toquinho e Vinícius and Jorge Ben Jor. Along with Marcos Romera, a brilliant pianist and arranger, Marcelo Mariano completes the trio, he is one of the greatest “sidemen” of MPB, who has already accompanied Eumir Deodato and Djavan, among many others.
